Proctor and Pellechet assign the printing to Johannes Rubeus at Treviso (cf. BMC VI p.l:  Johannes Rubeus was 'either identical or closely allied with the Printer of the 1480 Valla').

Note: In consequence of the confusion in the setting of leaves b7-8, the text of these leaves was set afresh, beginning on c1;  the faulty leaves b7-8, cancelled in some copies, are present in this copy.

Binding: 18th-century blind-tooled brown goatskin;  covers decorated to a two panel design with a double fillet and a foliate roll;  red leather gilt title label on spine;  marbled pastedowns;  yellow-edged leaves.   Size: 293 × 212 mm.
Leaf size: 287 x 206 mm.
Annotations: Copious marginal annotations in a humanist hand mainly in Latin but with some keywords in Greek - all heavily washed out;  occasional corrections of text;  Greek also added to spaces in text left by printer in gatherings g-l.
