University of Glasgow:  Hunterian bequest 1807;  Hunterian Museum bookplate on front pastedown, with former shelfmark “A.7.23”.
Binding: France (?), 18th-century red morocco;  covers decorated with a single gold-fillet border, a small gold ornament at each inner corner;  gold-tooled spine;  marbled endpapers;  green-edged leaves.   Size:  280 x 192 mm.
Leaf size: 274 x 182 mm.
Annotations: Frequent “nota” marks, occasional underlining and on 4/8v (f.32v) a pointing hand;  gatherings numbered "1"-"8" (numbers cropped).
Decoration: On 1/5r a seven-line initial “C” is supplied in gold on a blue, crimson and green square ground embellished with a white vine decoration and white dots;  other initials supplied in alternate blue and red throughout.
