Binding: France, 18th-century red morocco decorated with triple gold fillets, a small gold fleuron at each corner;  gold-tooled spine;  marbled endpapers;  gilt-edged leaves;  blue silk bookmark.   Size:  272 x 200 mm.
Leaf size: 268 x 192 mm.
Annotations: Frequent marginal and occasional interlinear annotations in Latin in a 15th/16th-century hand;  frequent pointing hands and “nota” marks;  occasional underlining.
Decoration: Initials “C” on 1/1r, “C” on 1/3v, “M” on 3/8v (f.28v) and “I” on 8/1r (f.67r) supplied in blue with reserved white and set on a square of red pen-work decoration extending into the margin.
Imperfections: None.
