Leaf size: 277 x 210 mm.
Annotations: Occasional marginal annotations in a 15th/16th-century hand;  early running headings in brown ink from 2a1r to r3r numbering the Epistolae;  the printer has divided up the text of some of the more lengthy Epistolae using an alphabetical sequence of capital letters within the body of the text and these letters of the alphabet have been copied by the rubricator in the margins as a further aid to navigation of the text.
Decoration: Six-line initial “A” on a2r supplied in blue with red pen-work decoration;  eight-line initial “C” on 2a1r supplied in blue with red pen-work decoration;  seven-line initial “C” on A1r supplied in red with brown pen-work decoration;  six-line initial “A” on A7v supplied in red with brown pen-work decoration;  other initials and paragraph marks supplied in red throughout.
Imperfections: Wanting the bifolium D1.8.
