Would you like some help or advice in moving on in your career? The University of Glasgow Careers Service offers full access to Research Staff currently employed by the University.  Whether you are keen to progress in academia or looking to move into another area of work, the Careers Service offers you the following services: 

Careers decision making in 1 to 1 confidential interviews. We are help to support you through all stages in the career decision making process, whether you feel you have no future career ideas or you know what you want to do but just need a bit of support getting there. We employ a careers adviser, Katrina Gray, dedicated to working with Research Students and Staff who you can email direct to arrange an interview.

Job seeking skills to support you in developing and identifying your career management skills - covers topics such as Career Planning, Job Search, Applications and Interviews.

Further study options online and in our information centre to find out more about the different options available. You can drop by to use our Information Centre anytime during office hours where our Information Staff are happy to help you find what you are looking for. This includes a specific section of resources for university researchers.

Job search with a wide range of employers. Whether you just want to find out more about different careers, want to make useful contacts or gain an insight into the recruitment process, you can attend the many different employers events organised throughout the year.
