Introduction to the Handbook

Welcome to the University of Glasgow. As a new member of staff, no doubt there are many questions going through your mind regarding the University and your employment. This handbook has been compiled to try and help you to find answers to at least some of these questions. It will, in particular, provide you with details of your main terms and conditions of employment, together with information on facilities for you as a member of staff.
Please do not feel hesitant about approaching your Head of School/RI/Service, Human Resources or your Trade Union representative with any queries you may have.
