Guidelines and information for applicants
Learning Works, the University of Glasgow's employee development scheme, aims to enable staff who are employed at Grades 1 to 5 to enjoy and benefit from taking part in learning. An annual learning allowance of £150 can be spent on a significant range of learning activities. The type of learning supported by Learning Works should show some benefit to both the individual and also to the University.
Aims of Learning Works
- To enable employees of the University of Glasgow to develop their potential through engaging in learning
- To encourage all staff - particularly new or reluctant learners - to return to, and enjoy learning
- To enhance staff relationships within the University
