The Hetherington Research Club's interim Committee of Management (CoM) had the sole task of creating a business plan for a reopened Research Club.  This business plan was submitted to the University in late May, and a revised version in August 2010.

The plan's goal was to reopen the Research Club, in 2010, in its original building in George Service House. Reopened, the Club would have a new constitution, professional management, and with clear and explicit CoM responsibilities.  This plan was rejected.
