The normal hours of opening for University Buildings are 9am-5pm - Monday to Friday except where undergraduate or postgraduate teaching starting at 5pm has been set specifically agreed in advance. In order to rationalise janitorial services and heating costs, use of teaching space after 5pm will be concentrated as far as possible in 'Open Buildings'.
Boyd Orr Building
With the exception of the week during Christmas Vacation, 24th December 2010 to 5th January 2011 inclusive, Boyd Orr Building will be open in the evening all year from Monday to Thursday until 9:30pm and on Friday until 8:30pm.
Adam Smith Building/Hetherington Building/St Andrews Building
During Semester weeks 1-11 (20th September 2010 to 29th November 2010) and 17-27 (10th January 2011 to 21st March 2011) from Monday to Thursday these buildings will remain open until 9:30pm.
