Paul O'Gorman Leukaemia Research Centre, Gartnavel CP00/492

The University has acquired the 3rd floor of a new laboratory development at Gartnavel Hospital. This will provide first class facilities for research, clinical trials and teaching in connection with the causation and treatment of leukaemia. It also brings together a number of world class researchers who had been scattered across Glasgow. Accommodation comprises research laboratory, offices, tissue culture room, seminar and dark room. Funding of the Project was by means of a major fundraising initiative via the Development and Alumni Office togethjer with grants from LRF and an ERDF grant from the European Regional Development Fund.
