Two new research centres at Western Court, adjacent to the Wolfson Medical School completing the triangle of excellence for the University.

For the University to pursue the highest quality research and the availability of major funding grants two separate research centres were developed.  These were linked to permit sharing of certain common functions.  Research will be carried out in the fields of Biomedical Science and Cardiovascular Medicine which are crucial for developing improvements for the future health of people in Glasgow and the West of Scotland as well as internationally.  These buildings provide first class accommodation to enable the researchers to achieve their goals.
