Estates Committee
Committee Structure
Estates Committee is a sub-committee of Court, which, as governing body, has among many powers under statute, the power to administer and manage the whole revenue and property of the University. It delegates a number of these functions to its committees and in the case of the University's estate this is delegated to Estates Committee.
Remit of Estates Committee
- To develop and maintain strategic estate plans for consideration by Court, taking into account academic need, resource implications and the importance of environmental sustainability;
- To develop policies to guide implementation of plans by Estates and Buildings.
