Booking Procedures

The Ferguson Bequest Corporate Membership schemes are available to all members of University of Glasgow staff holding a contract of employment.  This does not include individuals who are employed directly by other organisations but paid via the University payroll.

Please ensure that you are familiar with the following procedures when booking any of the Corporate Membership facilities:

  • All bookings should be made by contacting the Court Office on extension 6441.
  • The office opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm.  Bookings by telephone will not be taken before 9.00am and bookings in person can be made after 9.30am.  This is to ensure that all members of staff, no matter where they are located, on or off campus, are given equal opportunity of using the corporate membership facilities.
  • For returnable cards, bookings can only be made up to 7 days in advance.  David Lloyd is the exception - bookings can be made up to 8 days in advance for this facility.
  • For non-returnable tickets, bookings can be made at any time.  The booking made for these tickets will be for collection of the tickets and not necessarily the date of visit to the attraction.  If tickets are not collected on the agreed date, the booking will be removed.
  • When making a booking, your full name and departmental address must be given along with a contact number and your staff number.  (Home telephone numbers may be taken for weekend bookings).  If you are unable to use your booking, please contact the Court Office reception staff to cancel in order to allow other members of staff the opportunity to use the facility.
  • Staff can book membership cards for David Lloyd, Parklands and National Trust once a week, but it is possible to make additional bookings after 3.00pm on the day, if cards are available.
  • Where entry to a facility is by tickets/vouchers, staff are only allowed to make one booking per week and one booking per attraction per calendar year.  Tickets for these facilities must be collected on the agreed collection date.
Tickets not collected will be re-allocated.
  • Staff can only make bookings for themselves and no-one else and cards and vouchers must be used by the member of staff responsible for the booking and their partner/family/friend.  Staff identification (either staff photo card obtained through HR or a University payslip) will have to be produced at the venue if requested or entry will be declined.
  • Any cancellation fees incurred at David Lloyd will be the responsibility of the member of staff and not the Court Office.  Cancellation fees must be paid immediately and failure to do so will result in a ban.
