Carpet Cleaning
We have several different carpet cleaning treatments/methods available. To arrange a survey of your carpet please complete a Service Request Form. If you wish your carpet cleaning outwith cleaning services hours then a cost would be involved and a budget centre would be required.
Curtain/Blind Cleaning
We can provide a service in our internal laundry for certain size/materials of curtains. If we cannot do the service in-house we have an external company who will come and collect, clean and return your curtains or blinds (we would require a budget centre for this service as there would be a cost to the Department). Please complete a Service Request Form.Feminine Hygiene Bin Collection
We have a contract with PHS to supply and service feminine hygiene bins on a monthly basis. If you require an additional bin, or your bin is full, please complete a Service Request Form and we will arrange for it to be delivered, uplifted or replaced.Hand-Driers (Repairs)
If your PHS or Dyson hand-drier is not working please complete a Works Request Form and the University will send an electrician to check the electricity supply. If it is not an electrical fault then we have a contract with the company who supply the hand-driers and we will arrange for them to send out an engineer.
Cleaning Services have currently on trial, environmentally friendly hand-driers, which save 80% of current electricity costs. To discuss this option please submit a Service Request Form.
Laundry Services
We have an in-house laundry which supply and launder hand towels, tea towels and boiler suits. We also have a contract with Fisher Services for the supply and laundering of dust control mats, cabinet roller towels.
