Graduate Destinations

The University of Glasgow along with other UK Higher Education Institutions conducts a bi-annual statutory survey called the Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education survey (DLHE). The DLHE is designed and controlled by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA).

Leavers are invited to complete the questionnaire 6 months after graduation and are contacted via post, email and/or telephone.

The above data is for leavers graduating from 1 August 2009 to 31 July 2010. The Careers Services uses the DLHE to advise current students and academics about the opportunities available both for employment and training. However it is important to note that the DLHE is conducted only 6 months after graduation, a period often marked by change an uncertainty. Thus, the DLHE must be used as a snapshot of what is a moving picture.
