During my placement, I was required to compile reports that would have a major impact on how each business operated. I travelled to exhibitions and witnessed the business environment from the perspective of the service provider and met a variety of people who proved to be great business mentors.

Aside from the obvious advantage of helping to top-up your bank account for the forthcoming terms and keep 'The Bank of Mum and Dad' content, the placement provided an unrivalled opportunity to assess my future career aspirations. It also allowed me to network with successful business people who provided expert advice and contacts for the future. I would thoroughly recommend that anybody interested should apply for future Club 21 placements relevant to their chosen university course.
