The University of Glasgow along with other UK Higher Education Institutions conducts the Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education survey (DLHE). However it is important to note that this data is collected only 6 months after graduation, a period often marked by change and uncertainty. Thus, the results must be used as a snapshot of what is a moving picture.
The following data is for leavers graduating in 2010/11. The Careers Services uses the DLHE to advise current students and academics about the opportunities available both for employment and training. More information on graduate destinations by subject is available on the undergraduate and postgraduate link below.
The 'Not available for employment/study/training' category in the chart comprises graduates temporarily or permanently unable to work or not seeking employment etc.
