Who is Graeme Archer?
Graeme graduated from the University of Glasgow with a BSc in Statistics in 1990 and PhD in 1995. He lives in London and works for GSK in pharmaceutical R&D, designing clinical trials and interpreting the results.
In his free time he started writing about politics for the Conservative Home website. In 2011 he won the prestigious Orwell Prize for Blogging and as a result he was offered a regular column in the Saturday Daily Telegraph. He is a self-confessed ‘geek’ and has been described as ‘outspoken’. His blogs mix his personal stories with sharp political criticism.
Graeme loved his time at University but remembers all too clearly the fear on the run up to submitting his final thesis and the ups and downs of embarking on his career journey.
He is overjoyed at the chance to return to the University once again to speak to you about how he did it.
