Raise your campus profile

One of the most effective methods of recruiting students is to develop and maintain a visible presence on campus. We offer a menu of services and tailored solutions to help employers with their recruitment efforts.

Where possible, we are happy to accommodate bespoke events and employer activities. Please contact us directly to discuss further.

Recruiter Presentations and Skills Sessions

Hosting a presentation or skills session on campus is an excellent way of giving students an insight into your organisation, graduate programmes and internship opportunities.

The most popular dates for recruiter presentations are October to December and February to early March. The best time to host a presentation is over lunchtime or in the evening.

The Careers Service presentation package includes venue, computer, data projector and screen. Presentations are added to the online events calendar and Facebook. An online registration system can be set-up as required.

Presentations are promoted to students using student e-newsletters, targeted emails to students and academic staff, and social media. Posters can be displayed within the Fraser Building if provided.

An administration fee of £120 + VAT is charged for all recruiter presentations. To make a booking, please contact us.

Virtual Solutions

A great way to get the face-to-face contact students are looking for is by holding a virtual presentation. By connecting through video conferencing into one of our main lecture theatres, you can still appear on campus and get interaction with potential candidates without the cost of travel and time out of the office.

Drop-In Area

The landing located on level 3 of the Fraser Building is the ideal location to speak informally to students. It is a large area adjacent to the main catering facility providing high footfall over the mid morning and lunchtime period.

The landing can accommodate large promotional stands, a table (provided by the Careers Service) and even (as one recruiter brought in last year) a photo booth.

The recruiter's presence on campus is promoted to students using student e-newsletters, targeted emails and is listed on the online events calendar and Facebook.

An administration fee of £120 + VAT is charged for the use of the drop-in area. To make a booking, please contact us.

Targeted Emails

Emails can be sent to specific colleges and year groups on your behalf. Simply prepare the text and outline which colleges and year groups you would like to target and the Careers Service will schedule the email. Please note that only one recruiter email per day will be sent to each college.

An administration fee of £150 + VAT is charged for each targeted email. To make a booking, please contact us.

Digital Signage

Recruiters are invited to promote their graduate programmes and internship opportunities on the digital signage screens located in the Fraser Building.

The rotational system is offered at £30 + VAT per week or £100 + VAT per month.

Exclusivity of the Events screen located in the career advisor waiting area is available for £80 + VAT per week or £250 + VAT per month.
