What's it about?

As this is a recruitment fair, with real jobs, you should treat it as seriously as any of your other job-hunting strategies.

You will be expected to register on the day and we encourage you to read the official brochure as this is key to navigating your way around the fair. It contains information on all the exhibitors, their vacancies and who is located where. This will be available at the Fair free of charge. You will also be able to download it here approximately two weeks before the fair.

The employers will be a mix of large and small, each with a stand containing information and application forms for you to take away. The stands will be staffed by people from the organisation who are there to answer your questions. Introduce yourself to the exhibitor and hear about current vacancies and other opportunities within the organisation.

Over the two days there will be Careers Advisers available to answer quick queries and give careers advice. Universities will also be represented with information on post-graduate courses.

The voluntary and gap-year sectors will also be represented.
