2. Barclays Capital: Graduate Assessment - Testing and Telephone Interviewing - How to Prepare
An interactive workshop run by Barclays Capital where you can find out how to best prepare for the tests you are likely to be faced with across many different employers. Telephone interviews are not always taken as seriously as face to face ones. This workshop helps you prepare for both types of interviews and give you some background on what the interviewers are looking for. You will be given some real live examples and test questions to answer so come along and see how you fair against your peers!
3. Deloitte: Commercial Awareness for Graduate Interviews
What is commercial awareness and why do employers prize it so highly? Commercial awareness is a bit of a buzz word that basically means understanding issues from a business perspective. Our workshop will help you do just that, giving you even greater chance of success in your future job interviews.
4. Ernst & Young: Know Your Strengths
Do you want to find out more about harnessing your own key strengths so that you can make a more informed and rewarding career choice?
Come along to our interactive Know Your Strengths session and you will learn how to identify and use your strengths when looking for a graduate role and once you have started work to ensure you reach your full potential.
5. Hymans Robertson: Life in a Fish Bowl - What Recruiters Look for at Assessment Centre
This group exercise will help identify what skills and attributes recruiters look for in candidates at a graduate assessment centre.
6. Morgan Stanley: Trade Game
The Morgan Stanley trade game is an interactive and fast paced opportunity to recreate a real life trade process!
The overall aim of the game is to execute Purchase Trades in bonds, options and swaps in order to better understand the concept of the 'Life of a Trade'.
Your challenge is to ensure that the trades are executed as efficiently as possible given that margins are declining.
Your objective is to execute as many trades as possible with as few errors as possible:
- Failed Trades will make your Client's unhappy!
- Increased capacity will make trades more profitable and will make shareholders happy!
Learning outcomes:
The game is typical of the processes in our business.
You will get the chance to experience creative team problem solving and process re-engineering just as an actual process improvement team would.
And, you will have the opportunity to experience life as either a client of Morgan Stanley or an employee of Morgan Stanley. You will each receive information containing a job description and instructions along with everything you need to carry out your role.
Let the game commence......sign up now!
