Transport Scotland
Transport Scotland is the national transport agency for Scotland. As an agency of the Scottish Government, they are accountable to Parliament and the public through Scottish Ministers.  Responsibilities include rail and trunk road networks, major public transport projects, national concessionary travel schemes, road safety, policy development, and ferries, ports and harbours.

The Transport Scotland Graduate Training Scheme is accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and the Institution of Highways & Transportation (IHT).  Those joining the Training Scheme are provided with the skills and knowledge required to prepare them for their Professional Review within 5 years of commencing the programme. This will enable them to become Chartered Engineer or Transport Planning Professionals.
