Skills for Work: Engineering & Technology not only allow employers to exhibit and network with students, but also to host a workshop. Topics must be on a specific skill which will benefit the students in their working life.
Examples of previous workshops are:
- How to become a Chartered Engineer
- Succeed in Assessment Centres
- Preparing for and selling yourself at interviews
- Graduate Selection Processes - "Choosing the right graduate - choosing the right firm
- CV’s and Covering Letters that get noticed
- How to survive the application and interview process
- Competencies for employment selection
- Standing out from the crowd – 3 ways of maximising your chance of success
- Recruitment hints and tips for an international environment
Employer workshops will run parallel to each other. Students will then be directed to the Fair.
Format:
1100 - 1200 Employer Workshops
1200 - 1400 Exhibitor Fair
1400 - 1500 Employer workshops
Cost:
To exhibit: £100 + VAT
To exhibit and host a workshop: £300 + VAT. Workshops are now full.
