Information for Students

Thursday 17th November 2011
1130 - 1400, Hunter Halls, University of Glasgow

Why should I attend?
The Science Fair 2011 is open to undergraduates & postgraduates at the University of Glasgow who are looking for a career in the Science sector.

It’s a unique chance to meet employers within the science field and find out about different companies, their jobs and other opportunities such as work experience.

It's on campus!

View the exhibitor list. There might be an employer exhibiting with opportunities you didn’t realise matched your skills and qualifications! This is a great chance to have a taste of what the next chapter in your life could be.

Read up on the companies attending and what opportunities they have. Think of the questions you want to ask or topics you want to discuss with the exhibitors.

Create or develop an existing CV using the Careers Service. Bring it along on the day to hand out to employers.

REGISTRATION DETAILS:
If you would like to attend the Fair you can pre-register by selecting 'Jobs and Events' on the Careers Service homepage. Log-in. View the Events Calendar then register under 'Science Fair’.

Key Things to do:
• Get a name! It helps you immensely with your follow up and if you have any further questions.
• If you want to apply make sure you know what to do now, where to get an application form and any deadlines you have to meet.
• Enjoy the day!
