Open to all University of Glasgow students interested in a career in Media or interested in learning more about the industry.
Students are invited to submit questions to a panel of Media experts which will be opened up for discussion. The panel will be chaired by a Careers Adviser who will keep it running to time and direct questions to each panel member as appropriate.
Students will have to pre-register and students will be asked to pre-register all questions. Registration for both will open in April.

The panel last year included:
- Vic Galloway: Presents 2 weekly Radio shows for the BBC on Radio 1 & Radio Scotland and writes a weekly newspaper column on music.
- Mark Rickards : A Senior Producer with BBC Scotland with special responsibility for World Service, whose career path has taken him through TV to specialise in radio.
- Elizabeth Clark: Head of BBC Radio Scotland’s internet radio offering The Zones. Her 15 year BBC Radio career has seen her produce speech and music documentaries for Radio 2, Radio 3, Radio 4 and Radio Scotland, as well as launching BBC Radio Pudsey in 2007.
This is a great opportunity for you to hear first hand not only about the opportunities in Media but how to get in and get on! You’ll get to meet people actually working in what is a very competitive industry, giving an insight into the challenges and benefits of it.
