What are virtual careers fairs?
Virtual fairs take place on a web-based platform upon providing software tools including a vacancy database, an e-guidance facility, a CV bank and online chat rooms.
These tools allow students to:
· Participate in live online question and answer sessions with employers from across Greater China and South East Asia.
· View a wide range of job opportunities and/or internships available to students/alumni from ALL UK universities.
· Submit your CV to a database which can be viewed by a large number of actively recruiting employers
The same tools allow employers to:
· Access to a database of CVs from students/alumni from ALL UK universities including large numbers from the target countries looking to return home to pursue their careers.
· Advertise job opportunities and/or internships to students/alumni from ALL Scottish universities.
· Promote the organisation’s brand.
· Participate in live online question and answer sessions with potential candidates from across Scotland.
Participation is FREE to students AND employers.
