Advertise vacancies
You can advertise your vacancies to Glasgow students and graduates using our online vacancies system, ProspectsNet. The system is free to use and advertises:
- Graduate jobs and traineeships for final year students and recent graduates
- Work experience opportunities including; internships, vacation jobs, gap or year out jobs
- Part-time or casual work opportunities
- Volunteering opportunities
What’s more, graduate vacancies entered into ProspectsNet can be advertised much more widely through the Scottish Shared Vacancies System.
All vacancies submitted to our system must comply with our terms of use.
Visit ProspectsNet to register. You will receive an email confirming your login and password.
Please take the time to complete all of the fields for each vacancy advertised. This will ensure your advert is easily searchable and gains maximum exposure.
Your vacancy will be reviewed by a member of our team before being published. We reserve the right to refuse to advertise a vacancy without reason, and we may edit your information to ensure maximum impact. For more information on our Vacancy Advertising Policy, see our policies section.
If you are unable to use ProspectsNet, you can also send vacancies by email to Helen Colman for manual upload. However, we would encourage you to take the opportunity to place vacancies yourself wherever possible.
The University of Glasgow participates in the Scottish Shared Vacancies Service. When advertising full time graduate opportunities using our system you can select to either:
- Advertise your graduate vacancy to all Glasgow students and graduates
- Advertise your vacancy to all Scottish higher education institutions participating in the Shared Vacancies Services - Strathclyde, Aberdeen, Abertay, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Glasgow Caledonian, Heriot-Watt, Stirling, St Andrews and the University of the West of Scotland
To use the Shared Vacancies System, simply choose the appropriate option on the vacancy upload page.
Advertisements are checked for quality and compliance by the source institution prior to being released to the Shared Vacancies system. Currently the service is not open to share other types of vacancies i.e. part time, voluntary and internships.
