Benefits to Students
AUL@W is: "a good opportunity to see the market more in depth and to apply the knowledge to future job opportunities."
If you are a student in the fields of: Bioscience, Business & Management, English Language, History, Mathematics, Psychology, Physics or Social Sciences you may already be aware that, as much as you love your chosen subject, and may even want to pursue a career in that field, it can be very difficult to bridge the gap between university life and graduate employment.
The aim of the AUL@W Project is to provide opportunities for students like you to find out more about graduate employment opportunities and to help you to prepare for success in your professional career. Participation in employer talks, visits and skills sessions, or undertaking a placement or commercial project, will give you a real insight into the 'world of work' and what it requires of graduate recruits. With the support of academic staff and a wide range of employers, AUL@W will offer opportunities for you to build on the knowledge and skills gained in the classroom, enriching your learning experience and enhancing your future employability.
