Locating Books |
The catalogue of books in the GUAS Library is gradually being added to the Main University Library catalogue. Until the work is complete, the catalogue is only fully accessible in the Archive Services searchroom. |
Consulting Books |
The collection is for reference only and may be consulted in the Archive Services Searchroom located at C7 on the bottom left of the campus map (1 page, 157kb  ). |

| As reading space is limited to 11 people, reserving a desk by phone or e-mail is recommended. For further advice, go to opening hours and admission and facilities. |
Delivery of Material |
| The following locations may be given in the catalogue: |

Archive Services (Searchroom) |
| Indicates the item should be readily available in the Thurso Street building. When visiting, items are requested using order slips. Pre-ordering by phone or e-mail is acceptable. |

Archive Services (Store) |
| Indicates that advance notice is required to consult the item. Requests submitted by 11.00hrs will usually be available after 15.00hrs that day. Requests made after 11.00hrs will be available the next day after 09.30hrs. Consultation is still in the Archive Services Searchroom in Thurso Street. To request an item from the Archive Services (Store), send an e-mail with the call number and title stating when you would like to visit. |

Photocopying |
| There is no self-service photocopying service. A staffed copying service is available. |
