Research interests
Sociology of youth, education and non-traditional students within higher education
Previously worked on various research projects investigating young people, including a European Project investigating unemployment across Scotland and a longitudinal project investigating the prolonged transition among young people in the west of Scotland and longitudinal study investigating young people from disadvantaged areas experiences of higher education.
Current research
Two projects investigating the transition into university of international students.
