Our cross-faculty interdisciplinary Network for Gender and Women's Studies at the University of Glasgow was established in 1993. We carry out research and resourcing work with an important focus on international collaboration, public seminars, day schools and conferences. In celebration of our tenth anniversary the Centre introduced the new MSc in Gender, Rights and Development with the first graduates in 2005. After successful completion of their postgraduate work the graduates now work in a variety of fields.
Our extended website includes details of staff research and supervision areas with PhD opportunities across various departments and faculties. The seminar and conference series continue to attract audiences from various walks of life and we support exchange visits with a number of universities internationally.
