Issued: Fri, 27 Jan 2012 16:03:00 GMT
Several staff in the School have been awarded major new grants which will advance our research work in 2012, building on strengths and expertise.
Recent examples include:
- Professor Jane Duckett and Dr Neil Munro for a project on Chinese people’s attitudes to health care. This is a collaboration with colleagues in Glasgow, Manchester and China.
- Professor Eleanor Gordon, Dr Annmarie Hughes, and Dr Rose Elliott (Economic and Social History) on the History of Working Class Marriage in Scotland, 1855-1976. The project will produce a landmark history of marriage in Scotland. It also involves collaboration with external organisations, including the Glasgow Women’s Library and Scottish Women’s Aid, to disseminate findings and with Teaching and Learning Scotland to produce materials for use in schools.
