Research Themes

CRCEES will produce specialists in a wide variety of research areas within the Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, who have the requisite knowledge for understanding the legacies and problems of the post-communist world, and who are acquainted with the principal theoretical frameworks relevant to this region. The following themes reflect proven areas of research excellence within the Centre and provide a focus for its work:
