Dr Elwira Grossman has been nominated for the Golden Award of Merit (Zloty Krzyż Zaslugi) for her services to Polish Culture. Her nomination has been recently accepted and confirmed by the President of Poland. Dr Grossman was presented with her award by Tomasz Trafas, The Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Edinburgh, on Monday 19 August 2013 at the offices of Edinburgh City Council.
