Reproductive & Maternal Medicine
Reproductive & Maternal Medicine is an Academic Unit within the School of Medicine, Dentistry & Nursing that undertakes research into diverse areas of Women’s Health and is responsible for the teaching of Obstetrics & Gynaecology to undergraduate medical students.
Our current research programmes includes the study of management strategies for obesity in pregnant women and also those in midlife, management of menstrual disorders, the menopause and epidemiological studies to investigate factors predicting the outcome of infertility treatments.
In addition to the academic, research, administrative and technical staff listed, we also have Honorary Clinical staff who assist in teaching and examining.
Reproductive & Maternal Medicine has close links with the other sections within the School of Medicine, Dentistry & Nursing.
