Nursing and Health Care Research Interest Group

The Research Interest Group provides an opportunity for Nursing & Healthcare staff and post graduate research students to:

• Find out about research activity in the department
• Learn from one another’s experience of conducting research
• Explore and address methodological challenges
• Gain an international perspective on health research from colleagues
• Participate in practical workshops
• Increase confidence in discussing their research

We have informal monthly sessions with research related discussions or workshops.  Topics and facilitators for each session are identified by group members.  Upcoming sessions will focus on observation for data collection, interpreting statistics and using reference management software.
