Are you a good Listener? Are you good at looking out for others? Then you might be just the person we are looking for to become a Peer Supporter at the Medical School.

Are you a good Listener?

Are you good at looking out for others?

Then you might be just the person we are looking for to become a Peer Supporter at the Medical School.

The Medical School is developing a Peer Support Programme in recognition of the essential role that students play in supporting and encouraging one another. Around twelve students can apply to undertake Peer Support Training, to equip them with the skills required to be effective and responsible in supporting their peers throughout their time at the University and undertake this as a recognised role in the Medical School. The Training is to be scheduled between 27 February and 7 May, 2016, for roll-out in the 2016 academic session.

If you are interested in supporting your fellow students, can offer a listening ear and emotional and practical support, please apply by contacting shahn.deegan@glasgow.ac.uk
