Reproductive & Maternal Medicine

Head of Section: Professor Mary Ann Lumsden

Reproductive & Maternal Medicine is an Academic Section within the Division of Developmental Medicine and is responsible for the teaching of Obstetrics & Gynaecology to undergraduate medical students. We also have a taught postgraduate programme available - MSc (ClinSci) Reproductive & Maternal Sciences. Our current research programmes include the Management of Menstrual Disorders, the Menopause, Pre-Eclampsia and Preterm Labour.

In addition to the academic, research, adminstrative and technical staff listed, we also have Honorary Clinical staff who assist in teaching and examining.

Reproductive & Maternal Medicine has close links with the other four sections within the Division of Developmental Medicine - Child Health, Human Nutrition, Medical Genetics and Surgical Paediatrics.
