Clinical Physics

We are a partnership established in 1973, between the NHS and a university component for teaching and research with bases throughout the West of Scotlan,. Our MSc is IPEM accredited, leading to state registration as a clinical scientist if combined with IPEM training.

We have several functions:

  • - provision of facilities and expertise for health care in the West of Scotland
  • -  training in medical physics
  • - involvement in multidisciplinary research by applying physics and technology to advance medical knowledge.

2012 training intake announced. Anna-May Tutty who has an accredited MSc, Pauline Hall-Barrientos who will be on the MSc along with Daniel Welsh (Edinburgh based).

Still no news on what training will look like in the long term.
