Research Interests
Operads and their use in algebra and topology. In the past I have applied ideas from the theory of operads to problems in group theory and homological algebra. In Glasgow I am working on Hopf algebroids and how operad theory can be used simplify, to expand and to unite existing approaches. I am also interested in loop spaces and their generalisations.
