Research Interests

My main research interests are in developing and applying statistical methods in the area of environmental statistics. I am specifically interested in nonparametric, varying-coefficient and multivariate models for spatio-temporal data. Application areas include: effects of climate change and eutrophication on lake water quality, cyanobacteria and harmful algal blooms and water quality in rivers. I am also interested in the development of similar spatio-temporal models for brain imaging data.
