The School of Mathematics and Statistics was rated as excellent in for future researchers in Europe by the Centre for Higher Education, offering an outstanding, research-strong school with an international orientation for master's and doctoral students in the subjects of Mathematics. The CHE-Excellence Ranking 2010 comprises information from over 4,500 research groups in 19 countries from across Europe.
