Duncan Mc Coy successfully defended his thesis on May 16th. Duncan's research was on knots and Smooth Four-Dimensional Manifolds . He was supervised by Brendan Owens.
Duncan will take up a prestigious Bing Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Texas in August, starting in August.
