Towards a dynamical version of the Cuntz semigroup

Abstract
The Cuntz semigroup is an invariant for C*-algebras combining refined K-theoretical and tracial properties of the algebra in question, carrying important information but notoriously difficult to determine. We consider a dynamical version of the Cuntz semigroup for discrete amenable groups acting on compact spaces which appears easier to determine. It models the Cuntz semigroup of the crossed product C*-algebra of the action if the action allows certain to Rokhlin tower approximations.
