Abstract

The distribution of parasites in a host-parasite infection is over-dispersed: few hosts have high concentrations of parasites while many hosts have few parasites.
I will talk about the scenario applied to a gastrointestinal nematode infection in sheep, firstly I will  describe the biological system by a set of ODEs
then I will look at the stability of the system and lastly finish by talking about the equilibrium dynamics of the model.
