Abstract
Joint work with T Januszkiewicz, R Valle and R Vogeler We classify certain types of 2-dimensional combinatorial spaces that admit lots of symmetries. These spaces could be viewed as generalizations of the regular polyhedra and the regular tesselations of the Euclidean and hyperbolic plane. We use some tools from CAT(0) geometry and some tools from finite group theory.
