An overview of the ODE/IM correspondence

Abstract
"ODE/IM" refers to a curious, and sometimes useful, connection between objects which arise in the study of simple ordinary differential equations on the one hand, and in integrable models on the other.
This talk will outline some of this story, and mention a number of issues which are still to be understood.
