Abstract

Large scale eigenvalue problems are of increasing importance in scientific and engineering computing. Implicit Restarting Arnoldi method is one of the most effective method for the large sparse eigenvalue problems. The finalization of the stability of flow in a collapsible channel is to solve an unsymmetric generalized eigenvalue problem. A recent progress that we have made will be introduced.
