Counting Quadratic Points on Surfaces

Abstract
We will discuss Manin's conjecture on rational points of bounded height on algebraic varieties. In particular, we will show how the recent counterexamples of Le Rudulier can be extended by counting quadratic points on certain del Pezzo surfaces.
