Strongly outer actions of amenable groups

Abstract
We report on some ongoing projects with Hirshberg and also with Phillips and Wang, regarding the structure and classification of strongly outer actions of amenable groups on Jiang-Su stable C*-algebras. Most notably, we show that there exists a "model" strongly outer, strongly self-absorbing action that is absorbed by any strongly outer action. We will discuss applications to the theory of Rokhlin dimension, as well as preservation results for D-stability of crossed products.
